Sleeveless White Dress
how to roll up shirt sleeves - 3 ways to foldmenãs dress shirt sleeve - male style advice hi, iãm antonio centeno. the founder of ã¬realmen, real styleã® and today iãm going to be talking about how to roll up your sleeves.okay if you have it already, go ahead and subscribe our you tube channel by doing sothese videos will come right to you. in addition, if you like this video if you find it useful, please click on the like button right down here below. in addition, iãm going to linkyou right to an article which goes in to a lot more detail about rolling your sleeveand backward and half. illustrations or pictures and iãll talk in detail about each of thethree types. so iãve got three types. iãm only goingto show you two. the first one is the basic
rule after that weãre going to talk aboutthe master roll and finally weãre going to talk about the aifa roll. okay so the basicroll is how it sounds basic and this is where you ã± you know i see this one as for peoplethat have never people that have roll their sleeves and itãs the most intuitive rolei think that may most of us have done it sometime. and you just roll up normally so you use usuallythe cuff as the measuring point so you unbutton the shirt, fold back the first time on thecuff and this roll is limited because itãs hard to take down. itãs time consuming togo up and it actually becomes the most constrictive as it goes up. iãm not going to go all theway up but as you can see, weãre basically going to be using the cuff as the measureand we continue to roll up, roll up and so
we get pass the elbow. and iãll touch on the debate as to whethera cuff should be above or below the elbow. now depending on the shirt, this fit findthree times and i said i wasnãt going to show you the basic rule but i guess i justdid. so let me go ahead and go back and weãre going to talk about the master roll. the masterroll i saw in the marine corp quite often and iãve also seen it with men who actuallyhave shirts letãs say with a contrasting color underneath. and this looks really well or really nicebecause itãs actually simpler and when done with a bit of color in the shirt, i thinkit actually looks even sharper. so the idea
is youãre going to roll the shirt up so youcan see what iãve done here. and then youãre going to roll up this bottom over that andyou can do this in the combination of waist but if youãve got some color underneath herethen all of the sudden youãre going ã± in the sense you donãt want to show all thatcolor. but you donãt want to show something. you can straighten that out and take the timeto do that. so this is the one, i feel this has less constrictionand itãs really easy just to take right off. just comes right off. okay so that was themaster roll. weãve talked about the basic roll which i showed you. and now itãs likeabout the afia roll and many people never heard of this one but thatãs it. so i callthis one the afia roll and this is the one
that goes below the elbow and itãs more aboutjust letting in air. this is actually the roll i chose to go with. and so letãs go ahead and get in to the secondpart of this, which is about do you want the roll to be above elbow or below the elbow.i personally like it when itãs below the elbow unless iãm having to do work. so abovethe elbow if youãre having to do work, below the elbow if youãre just looking to cooloff. what is in the signal that hey itãs the end of the day and itãs time to relax.letãs have some beers. letãs take easy so this is you know if iãm out walking withmy family and iãm just in a dress shirt and in denim or you know i like typically dressed.
you can even do this under a sport jacketbecause thatãs where it works pretty well and so these look great here. now the reasoni like this look versus the above the elbow. itãs like feel it, it doesnãt violate therule of in any place with the rule of thirds. so you can see here actually two thirds ofmy arm is covered. and this is a ã± you can do the google search on the rule of thirdsbut visually i just think that this looks a lot better because when you go above theelbow. you go the half and half and go fifty- fifty on it on your picture, it never looksright. and if you i guess you go back to the greeksand they will explain this a much better detail and better than i can. but basically by havingtwo thirds and one third, it just looks better.
it looks better with almost everything elseon your body. and for me you know iãm not also a huge guy so iãm not ã± from that hugemuscles. i think that just makes me look more proportioned. over all great look. so againwe talked about the basic roll. we talked about the master roll and we talked aboutthe afia roll. if you want to learn you know when about whenyou should roll your sleeves. i think we did the entire other video on that. iãll playa link on that video down below. and if you got any otherã– ã–questions, send it to us here at ã¬realmen, real styleã®. take care, ba bye.
